Built and inaugurated in 2015, Lake Niguarda draws its waters from the Villoresi Canal and is the largest body of water in the Park.
In 2018, the "Sun Strac" refreshment point was inaugurated, dug into the embankment of the nearby cycle/pedestrian walkway, which welcomes visitors year-round.
The forecourt, with its steps leading down to the lake, hosts water games, theatrical performances, concerts, and markets.
The lake, which has quickly become a welcoming and pleasant landmark, exemplifies the Park's ability to create usable spaces where nature and culture are accessible to all.
