From Rein in Taufers (at the church are usually parking if you do not arrive too late) follow the always good signage and reached after about 1 hour through a beautiful larch forest and through lush meadows the "Lobiser Schupfen", a collection of hay huts. Here you come to the actual Durrecker Höhenweg. Thanks to the untouched nature and the diverse flora and fauna, and of course quite relaxed because relatively flat, you walk here on about 5 kilometers and across several alpine pastures, always the glaciated Rieserfernergruppe and the rugged rocky peaks above the inner Knuttental in mind, back in Direction Rein in Taufers.
