Midnight Dome is an earthen mound, which Dome Road and hiking trails lead up to. Dome Road has nice views and circles the mound, but climb to the top, where picnic benches offer 360-degree views with beauty in every direction. There is an AYPH paragliding launch here, and it's an excellent spot to catch some Northern lights.

Anyone visiting the gold rush capital shouldn't miss the unique panoramic view from Midnight Dome.

From up here, you can see Dawson and the traces of its gold mining history.

Magnificent views of the city and the Yukon River. The climb is strenuous but worthwhile. At night, it's a good spot to observe the Northern Lights.
