Single track, steep and narrow but with great panoramic views. However, only as long as the trees do not wear foliage. A good basic condition and surefootedness, especially in the descent on the north side, should be present. The descent is very narrow and partly slippery because of the loose stones. Just up the wall is very close to the path.

First, there is a steep climb from the car park straight through the forest. At the top, you have a beautiful view of the lake and the dam. A varied hike of around 17 km. Good footwear and a basic level of fitness are recommended.

The name of the way says it all. At 9.4 km in length you can enjoy fantastic views of the Diemelsee (not to miss the summit cross on St. Muffert), the Sperrmauer and the Sauerland mountains. While roaming, enjoy the ever-changing landscape of forests, mountains, valleys and meadows and enjoy the tranquility and nature of the Diemelsee Nature Park.
