The church was first mentioned in 1454. In 1604, the Protestant Church of St. Stanislaus stood here with a Pietà in the main altar. The Catholics took over the building in 1607 and consecrated it as the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The church burned down twice. In the middle of the 19th century, it was rebuilt as a neo-Gothic building in the arcade style. The church is currently consecrated to St. Nepomuk and is under the control of the Rokitno deanery.
