We reach the chapel by a wooden footbridge for about 50m. The chapel of St. Eustace was created in a forest setting by the "Tropem Żubra" Trail in the Browsk forest district. Holy Masses or prayer meetings are probably held here from time to time. A scene from the saint's life was carved in the now dead so-called "Stiopa's Oak". A few years ago, Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz participated in a meeting organized here. The oak of Jacek Kuroń is located nearby. As we know, St. Eustace is the patron saint of firefighters, hunters, foresters, trappers, tortured people and Madrid. The decision to create the chapel of St. Eustace in the Białowieża Forest was made because of his patronage of hunters. According to legend, during a deer hunt between Tibur and Praenestes, the future saint saw the cross of Jesus in the deer's antlers (this scene was shown on "The Oak of Styopa"). After this event, he converted and was baptized together with his family, and then he took the name Eustace.
