Wilhelm Sül was a trade unionist and an active member of the KPD. In 1921, he was shot from behind in a stairwell of the Berlin police headquarters - allegedly on the run. This commemorative plaque at the Rummelsburg power plant, where he worked as a senior machinist, commemorates him.
