Across the wide, open meadows and fields from the south of Westerland to Keitum near the train station. The asphalt resembles a patchwork quilt. This route is now also a busy one from the center of the island to the south (delivery traffic as well as tourists heading to the popular beach areas of Samoa and Zanzibar). Therefore, it's best to go very early or during the off-season. However, if you want to reach the Nössedeich, you can't avoid one section.
