Above several levels connected by a staircase there is a fenced grotto. Numerous plaques want to make people believe that "Mary helped".
Secularly one has at least a nice view and also a couple of resting places.

A replica of the Marian Grotto in Lourdes. Every year on the Assumption of Mary, after sunset, there is a light procession from the church to the grotto, with participants from all the surrounding areas - including from neighboring Saarland.
