A must-see site during a stay in Beaufortin: the macadam road extends for about 6 km, on a gradual slope, with some sections at more than 10%. A gravel path then extends this road. The view of the Glaciers Valley is spectacular, with the Aiguille des Glaciers and the Col de la Seigne in the background. Traffic is almost non-existent, except for the shuttles between Les Chapieux and the Ville des Glaciers, and the locals. Be careful not to speed excessively downhill, because the road is narrow, and steep in places.

Clearly one of the most beautiful roads I've ever done by bike. Not to be missed under any circumstances. It's possible to climb up to the Leschettes chalet on a small, easy gravel section that can be done with small tires.
