It was built in 1820. Jerzy Dobrzański, the first owner of the Ostrowiec estate, built a small manor house here, which initially served as the headquarters of the forgewomen working nearby. As the main decoration of the portal leading to the chamber, he placed an image of a Celtic woman on the door, who was supposed to bring regular income and omnipresent happiness. At the end of the 19th century, the Wielopolscy family bought the property from him. Countess Wielopolska lived here, and hid great Polish patriots who worked to save our homeland in a nearby hunting lodge. She loved to surround herself with motifs from Irish legends. That is why her chambers and rooms were painted with colorful frescoes from the birth of Saint Bridget of Ireland.
