On day 1, I visited the northern side of the Wachau and was very impressed. I'm more familiar with this route from my car, but this was the first time I'd cycled this route, and of course, I was very impressed.
What's a bit annoying is that most of the cycle path runs parallel to the country road.
But there are a few opportunities to cycle through small villages, which breaks up the monotony of cycling along the country road.
It's also beautiful to see how the vegetation changes when you look at the southern side of the Danube.
All in all, beautiful nature.
