With a lot of voluntary sweat, this old train station was "restored" again.

"The main building in a half-timbered building with jewelry slate and a flat, hewn roof. 1-storey interlocking extension, brick goods shed with ramp on both sides. The current Pattscheid station on the Opladen-Remscheid Balkan Express was put into operation in 1902, the route itself had been built in 1881. Its predecessor stood on today's street "Auf dem Bohnbüchel".

The station, which became useless when the railway line was closed in 1991, was renovated by the Illbruck company in 1998. "(Source: leverkusen.com/denkmal/index.php?view=201)

Worth seeing! Graffiti art by Andreas Nigge. The “Balkantrasse” association was able to place a real eye-catcher here. Very nice.
