The palace was built in 1873. It was most likely built by Baron Georg L.W. von Puttkamer, and rebuilt in 1911. It stands on a rectangular plan. It has a basement, the main body has two storeys, covered with a hipped roof, and the wings are single-storey. An arched driveway leads to the entrance, and there is a veranda on the garden side. The building's elevation is decorated with cornices, pilasters and friezes.
