The peak of Hum provides an amazing view of Laško and the valleys and mountains beyond. There's plenty up here too.
On the approach to the peak you'll pass a crucifix and a wind harp. At the top you'll find a bench, an engraved metal map pointing to all the nearby peaks, and a summit box that houses pens and a summit register to record the date and time of your climb.
The peak of Hum is clearly really well looked-after and fairly frequently visited. It's a great spot to take a break before the descent, and it's well worth the climb to reach.
You have to scramble up some difficult terrain to get up here, but the steepest and most difficult section is supported with metal poles and cables. This supported section is not very long, nor is it exposed, so it isn't too hard as long as you're sure-footed.
