Marimont palivark was built in the 19th century. p. II. and belonged to the Antazavė estate. In this place, in the 19th century p. II. a dam was installed on the Zalvė stream and a mill with a pickling mill and a sawmill were built. Wool was carded, yarn was spun, and soap was spun here. The very steep road to Marimont goes from the Bradesi side. In addition, there is a never-freezing spring at the top of the mountain, the water of which flows down the mountain towards Marimont. Therefore, the road was always rutted, wet and muddy. In order to make it more convenient for people to go to the mill, it was necessary to fix that section of the road in some way. From the mountain down, the road began to be paved with stones - paving. To make the road not so steep, it was built with a serpentine loop. The mill, sawmill, and carding mill operated even in the post-war years, but in 1946 or 1947, when a fire broke out, everything burned down, and only the remnants of the stone masonry and a section of stone-paved senkel (cobblestone) have survived to this day.
