Beautiful temple. It is worth going around and going inside if possible. The temple is an official monument from the beginning of the 20th century, entered into the register of monuments. There are a few monuments around and at the back there is an interesting chapel in a stone cave and a few interesting historic buildings. I definitely recommend it.

The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Augustow was built in 1906-1911 in the eclectic style on the site of the demolished Classicist Church of St. Bartholomew. Destroyed in 1944, the church was rebuilt in 1947, and the 50 m high towers in 1986.
