Unfortunately, it's practically unused and somewhat neglected these days, but still very impressive. The complex has an interesting and eventful history – it would be wonderful if this building were brought back to life.

The castle is privately owned and the gardens are lovingly restored. The rock garden is particularly worth seeing.

When I was here in early April 2019, the grounds and house looked quite well-maintained. The lawn in the park had been freshly mowed, they were clearing away fallen trees, and weeds were being pulled around the house. 😁
