Ashland Nature Center, which also serves as the Delaware Nature Society’s headquarters, spans 130 acres in the Red Clay Valley. Open year-round, it features woodlands, meadows, marshes, and 4 miles of nature trails, including the popular Succession Loop. Visitors can enjoy educational programs, a picnic area, and wildlife observation at the Hawk Watch, Butterfly Habitat, Bird Blind, and the Hummingbird Haven. The center offers nature activities for all ages, including school and group programs, and facility rentals for events. The park is also pet-friendly and provides scenic views of the Red Clay Creek.
