The Plaza del Paradero in Santa Lucía de Tirajana is a good place to stop and rest. There are several cafeterias or bakeries around where you can buy a coffee, soft drink, or a bit of food and in the same square there is a fountain to fill the cans, and all with spectacular views of the mountains.
