The visit to the temple, both the crypt and the church, is free. But if you want to enjoy the fantastic views from the top, you need to get on the lift and then climb a few more steps. Certainly one of the more charming places in the city - the best view over Barcelona!

Initially, it was a hermitage built by the Salesians, inaugurated in 1886 during the visit of Saint John Bosco to Barcelona.
The construction of the Expiatory Church of the Sacred Heart, designed by Enric Sagnier, began in 1902 and ended in 1961.
It is a monumental building with neo-Gothic architecture and crowned by a bronze statue of the Sacred Heart.
An elevator allows you to go up to the top of the expiatory temple, 575 m above sea level, from where you can enjoy views of the city of Barcelona.

Tibidabo is a hill overlooking Barcelona. At 512 metres, it is the tallest hill in the Serra de Collserola. Collserola apparently being the largest urban recreation park in the world. The Sagrat Cor church is simply beautiful and here you will have the best views of the city and the coast.
