The best-known views of Prenzlau, which lies on the Unteruckersee, are probably the brick buildings of St. Mary's Church and the Mitteltorturm. If you are interested in churches and monasteries, you will find it here: various buildings from the 13th and 14th centuries can be found here. As a stage destination on the Berlin-Usedom bike path Prenzlau also offers enough refreshment and swimming for exhausted cyclists.

If you come here on the Berlin Usedom cycle path and want to eat properly (breakfast) calories, you should make the same route from the route to the 8-minute detour into the local McDonalds, instead of time-consuming researching the local gastronomy. The McDonalds is spacious and very attractive (real wood) furnishings (2019). Breakfast on weekdays until 10.30, weekend until 11.30.
