Holcim AG, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, is one of the largest building materials producers in the world. According to Forbes Global 2000, Holcim ranks 275th among the largest listed companies in the world (as of 2024).[4]
The name Holcim is derived from the former company name Holderbank (after the place of the same name) and the French noun ciments for cement. After the merger with Lafarge in 2016, the group was temporarily called LafargeHolcim. In 2021, the group was renamed Holcim again.
