The Alte Kurhaus is a country inn with a hotel and its own organic fish farm. The family-run country inn (snacks, daily lunch and dinner) offers 50 beds (shower / toilet / balcony). A house for the whole family in an idyllic location. Rest day: Thursday.

Nice inn. Despite the corona virus, we were treated to delicious food and even received plates and cutlery to eat the meal on a bench by the pond. The vegetarian options were also very tasty.

The old Kurhaus is idyllically situated between the Trabelsdorfer lakes and the hills of the Steigerwald. Fish from the in-house organic farm as well as other regional and seasonal delicacies can be eaten there. The hotel is also very bike-friendly and an ideal starting point for various tours in the surrounding area, whether on foot or by bike. Directly opposite the hotel / restaurant there is a small public bathing lake that invites you to take a break in the shade or to cool off.
