Experience, marvel, invent - the Conveyor Technology Museum has opened its doors to all visitors who are enthusiastic about technology, research and development.
The museum presents the development of conveyor technology from the invention of the wheel to computer-controlled high-tech systems on 2,000 m² of hall space.
In the large indoor play area, young and old can burn off their excess energy. Be it on the indoor soccer field, with a fast slide on one of the three climbing slides, a race with a fun vehicle from the racing fleet or in a duel on the table tennis table or table football.
The fischertechnik workshop is open every Sunday for hobby engineers of all ages. Here, tinkering and creativity are required: marble runs, vehicles, conveyor systems and robots are just a handful of projects that can be realized with the help of fischertechnik.
Special events are held at regular intervals in cooperation with the "Erlebnismuseum Fördertechnik e.V." support association. From lectures on the subject of electromobility to a repair café and a museum vernissage, the aim is to organize interesting events that go beyond the topic of technology.
The combination of museum, playground and workshop is also suitable for unforgettable children's birthdays.
In addition, this extracurricular learning location is perfect for students to broaden their horizons and promote motivation for education and careers.
