The Bird Street Conservation Area borders the Stoughton Memorial Conservation Land in Stoughton, MA. There's several miles of trail through the woods and past ponds. You can pick up the trail at a few different spots, but the best place to start, especially if you have kids, is at the Bradley Lessa Memorial Playground where there is ample parking and a place for your kids to play before or after your hike. The trails here through woods, wetlands, and open fields are generally flat but can be uneven with rocks and roots. Highlights include a kid-friendly Storybook Trail (a short loop with rotating picture books in glass cases!), a large boulder fort, a pond, birdhouses, and a "gym" (there are posts and pull-up bars in a mulched area the middle of the woods!) the forest.
