In the museum, there is a collection of leather goods, which contains the most important machines and devices for leather processing in leather. The Leatherworking Collection in Šoštanj represents the development of leather crafts in the large-scale industry and important industry, which also had a strong impact on the social and demographic development of the population of this area. The leather factory Franc Woschnagg and the sons of Šoštanj (1788-1999) was among the two world wars the largest and most modern oyster shop in the Balkans. In the area of the former Austro-Hungarian monarchy, she was known as the finest leather leather factory.
