The Stelmužė manor has been known since the middle of the 16th century. It is believed that a castle stood here before the manor appeared. Although the manor palace has not survived over the centuries, in one of the more interesting villages in Aukštaitia, you can still find remnants testifying to the once lively life of the manor. The estate, which has flourished in a Protestant environment for a long time, still attracts groups of visitors from both Lithuania and foreign countries. Visitors come to Stelmuža to see unique natural and architectural monuments in Lithuania.
