At the Institute for Solar Energy Research Hamelin (ISFH), innovative components for the photovoltaic and solar thermal use of solar energy are being developed. The physical understanding of the individual components and the development of cost-effective manufacturing processes are at the center of interest. The components manufactured at ISFH are tested in energy systems, because often only the behavior in the system determines the success of a development.
