This multiuse trail boasts a nearly cinematic view of the breathtaking landscape in the preserve. There is plenty of wildlife, including birds of prey, bobcats and coyotes, and if you visit during spring, the wildflowers are in bloom, adding to the picturesque scenery. Around the halfway mark of the route is Willows campground, with accessible restrooms, water, and unshaded picnic tables. You will see plenty of cattle along the way, however, electric fences segregate them, so you won't need to worry about sharing the trail with livestock.
