In the heart of the Allerpark lies the 29 hectare Allersee. It is a popular destination for those seeking relaxation, sun worshipers and water lovers, especially in summer.

The Allersee was artificially created in 1969 and is 1,230 m long and 270 m wide. Its deepest point is 11 m.

With its good water quality, the lake is popular with bathers, especially in summer. A sandy beach stretches almost a kilometer long along the northwest side of the lake, which makes the holiday feeling perfect. The beach promenade, which is up to six meters wide and is ideal for strolling, runs along the sandy beach and Lake Allersee.
