The Catholic parish church of St. Bartholomäus Wartenfels is centrally located on the town square. Today's church building dates from 1863/64. A simple, neo-Gothic building with a drawn-in choir closed on three sides and a flat plastered ceiling was created. In 1970/1971 the parish church was completely redesigned. The reason for this was on the one hand the unfavorable previous arrangement and thus the very limited number of seats, on the other hand the requirements of the post-conciliar liturgical celebration were to be met. In 2014 the church was renovated and redesigned based on the principles of modern church design.
