This forest has been a protected area under the Habitats Directive (FFH) since 2024. Some paths will be closed in the foreseeable future, but the main circular trail will remain intact. It's worth stopping and taking a look to the right and left. Renaturation is taking place here, and parts of the forest are being left to their own devices.
