The old railway line from Manacor to Arta is always beautiful - with newly built stations that unfortunately were never used because after the line was restored and a change of government, the decision was made not to put the line back into operation as a railway line.
So what remains is a cycle and hiking path through a great landscape - away from the roads - unfortunately very rough gravel on long sections that require a lot of attention.
