The Ong Pagoda, also known as Quan Cong Temple, is also a typical work of Chinese craftsmen who, accompanied by Vietnamese locals, hand-craft sophisticated statues and decorations in a colorful temple. The temple is resplendent in red, yellow and green color and the decorative motifs are still magnificent today.

Wherever Chinese settlers have established themselves in Vietnam, a temple honoring the legendary General Quan Cong is never far away. Founded in 1653, it has been renovated several times. Passing through the dragon-painted entrance doors, one enters an elaborately decorated interior. The general sits enthroned on the main altar with his mandarins. Behind it is a small museum.
