The main camp originated from 1910 and was completed about 1913. The Kommandantur was only a few meters away. From 1913 to 1942, the most diverse commander families lived here.
After 1945, the "main camp" was used by Soviet troops.It was first set up here a medical unit and then there was the staff of the 16th Soviet Air Force and in the building, a museum was then established.
