The oak roof pillar (author - sculptor Arūnas Grušas) is located in the old village of Medinių, Pasvalis neighborhood, in the former homestead of the Vileišiai family. The figures of the Vileišiai brothers are carved on the roof pillar: Peter, holding in his hands the attribute of the bridge - the arch, Jonas - the signatory of the Act of Independence, holding the scales of Themis as a lawyer and the bison emblem as the mayor of Kaunas, Antanas - the doctor of the city of Vilnius, Anupras, who helped his brother Peter in the bridge construction works, Juozas, with his hands folded in prayer, thus marking his death before he was even thirty, and Kazimierz, who remained to live in his father's house. The roof pillar was unveiled in 1991. on February 16, commemorating the 140th anniversary of the birth of Petros Vileišis.
