Abbé Henry dedicates a chapter to the four ru of Saint-Christophe: the Ru Baudin built in 1287 by Jacques of Quart, the even older Ru Champapon, the Ru Prévôt which his brother the provost Henri of Quart had excavated around 1300 and the Ru Pontpillar (Sic) or Piàru excavated at the beginning of the 15th century thanks to the initiative of the parish priests of Roisan, Sant'Orso, Saint-Christophe and Quart who obtained authorization to build on it from the Duke of Savoy on 8 December 1409 the Ru Prévôt another canal from Valpelline to Quart.
