The Green Synagogue of Rēzekne, also known as Beth Midrash ("House of Study"), is the oldest wooden building in the city and the only one of the original 12 synagogues that has survived. It was built in 1845 using log construction. A memorial plaque on the wall of the former prison commemorates the Jewish residents of Rēzekne murdered by the Germans during World War II and the Audriņi massacre. (Wikipedia)
A few meters further on, there is another interesting mural depicting Jewish life in Rēzekne.
