The first wooden, two-story railway station was built in the late 1880s. It had a veranda for waiting people, a stationmaster's apartment, rooms for railway staff and a water tower. He was standing between the street. Orla, and the tracks, at the level of the current bus stop. The square in front of the station was where today's bazaar is. The station was an important center of social life. Daily press and correspondence arrived here, there was a telegraph and the only buffet, which was excellent. Concerts and games were held on the veranda. In the waiting room – popular music concerts.
The current brick station in the modernist style with Art Nouveau elements was built before 1910. Its creator was architect Jan Fijałkowski (1872-1919), the builder of the Vistula Railway, designer of the church of St. Zbawiciela and the House of Technology on ul. Czacki in Warsaw. He was also the author of the reconstruction of the water tower at the station in Otwock (around 1910). There are commemorative plaques on the front wall of the station: erected on the 60th anniversary of the electrification of the line and commemorating the events of May 7 and 8, 1981 and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of "Solidarity".
