In 1849, Elisabeth Eppinger, Mother Alphonse Maria, founded a religious order in her hometown of Bad Niederbronn in Alsace, the "Sisters of the Divine Redeemer".
From the beginning, their main concern was the poor, the sick and the disadvantaged. Through their devotion to those who need their help, God's merciful love should be experienced. Today, the "Niederbronn Sisters" live and work in Europe, Africa, India and South America.

The former castle of Oberbronn has housed the convent of the Sisters of the Most Holy since 1849, founded by Elisabeth Eppinger and now recognized as blessed by the Church. Located in the heart of the village, the hotel opens to visitors its gardens and its courtyard, which once served as the residence of the lords of the town.

You can stay overnight in the monastery. The garden is beautiful, with many little nooks and crannies where you can sit and simply read. In the evening, there is a wonderful starry sky. The monastery itself is surrounded by a wall, which is closed at night.
