Church of St. Our Lady of Consolation, former Greek Catholic church

The first Orthodox church in the village of Olszanica was built in 1815. It was a wooden temple. In 1923, a new brick Orthodox church was built in place of the old one. Dormition of the Mother of God, who served the Greek Catholic faithful. After World War II, the church was abandoned. In 1967, a Roman Catholic parish was established in the former Orthodox church. Our Lady of Consolation. Right next to the church there is a bell tower where you can see a bell from 1630.

I visited this place today, the church is closed, only the vestibule is open and you can look inside through the glass in the door. There are two old bells in the vestibule, while three bells on the screen belfry look new, including the JPII bell and the Independence Bell. The parking lot is located between the road (DK84) and the church fence.
