The idea of the EGIS energy village was born in autumn 2020. Construction of the 125 megawatt solar park began in October 2022. In 2023, the district heating network and the e-charging stations will be built in Bundorf and from 2024 the energy transition of the future with local added value will become a reality in Bundorf. An EGIS energy village that is unique in Germany so far.
