The Nägele Inn has a long history: the inn was first mentioned in 1184. Numerous families have owned the inn since then. But the old charm has still been preserved.
The Nägele Inn is located in the middle of the village, surrounded by residential buildings, next to the maypole and church. From the outside you can still clearly see that this house has been here for a while. And if you dare to step through the old wooden door, it feels like a journey into the past: old wooden floorboards, uneven windows, deer antlers on the walls.
The history of the house goes back to the year 1184. A meeting of princes and counts is said to have taken place there. The owners at that time are not known. The first innkeepers were mentioned in 1416, at that time the inn was still known as the "Tavern of Wörnsmühl".
