The main avenue is not only the central axis of the spa town of Bad Pyrmont, it is also considered one of the oldest spa parks in Germany.
It begins to the north at the fountain square, where the Hyllige Born - the oldest healing spring in Pyrmont - bubbles in a twelve-columned fountain temple in front of the Wandelhalle. This square, where the Brodelbrunnen is also located, is the heart and landmark of Bad Pyrmont. The palm trees between the historic, bright buildings create a unique Mediterranean flair in summer.
