All children are taught by just one teacher in usually one room, or two if the facilities are better.

The first school building dates from 1840/41 and the turret was added in 1844. A school bell, a gift from Prince Georg von Eisenberg, was installed in it, followed by the installation of the clock in 1848. A new school was built in the second half of the 19th century. Today this building is privately owned.
