It passes through the municipalities of Paredes de Coura, Vila Nova de Cerveira and Caminha and the parishes of Formariz, Paredes de Coura, Rubiães, São Martinho de Coura, Covas (Vila Nova de Cerveira), Vilar de Mouros, Venade, Vilarelho, Seixas, and Walk.
