On the heights of the Alto del Perdon, and thus in a prominent place, is this "pilgrim train", sometimes also referred to as the "pilgrim caravan" - built in 1996 by the friends of the Way of St. James from Navarro. The figures are worked as silhouettes of rusty iron.

The Franciscan Friar Peter Fobes writes in his pilgrim guide:
"Of course, the motives and experiences of the individual pilgrims are very personal and differ accordingly from one another. Nevertheless, there are some experiences that are mentioned again and again, so obviously many ... are common, especially the encounter with people who are also after Santiago are on the way. Some walk a distance together... Very deep conversations often develop and the togetherness strengthens one another's faith."
