The Puy de la Vache has a crater due to a lava flow. This flow, with that of the Puy de Lassolas, constitutes the Cheire d'Aydat which created the lakes of Aydat and La Cassière by obstructing the Veyre. Its summit allows you to observe the Puys chain.
