Planet path Trebur

In 2010, on the outskirts of Trebur (49 ° 55 ′ 54 ″ N, 8 ° 24 ′ 27 ″ E) in the direction of Rüsselsheim parallel to the state road, the 2 km long Trebur Planet Trail was opened. The Trebur Planet Trail is a project of the Trebur Astronomy Foundation.

The Trebur Planet Trail is a special type of hiking trail. A scaled-down model of the solar system on a scale of 1: 1.56 billion is shown along the hiking route. Information boards provide information about the planets in our solar system.

The sun is the center of the path. It can be seen in the center of the traffic circle (König-Kreisel) and is shown in the size in which it can also be seen in the sky when we are at the station "Earth".
